Funeral services for Carl Harvey, age 79, will be this afternoon, 2 o'clock, from the Weaver Funeral Home. The Rev. David Barnett will officiate with burial in the Danville South Cemetery. A resident of R.R. 1, Danville, he had been ill for several months and died, Monday evening, in the Hendricks County Hospital.
A lifetime resident of Hendricks County, he was born in the Mill Creek community, Jan. 21, 1891, the son of the late James H. and Leora Hadley Harvey. On Sept. 15, 1915, he was married to the former Bertha Neal in Danville. She preceded him Sept. 24, 1968.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Neal and Glenn Harvey, Danville; three brothers, Otis and Amos Harvey, also of Danville; Dwight Harvey, Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Viola Van Vliet, Newport; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
