Former Resident Dies

Mrs. Emma Irvin Heineger died at the City hospital Tuesday at the age of 52 years, from cerebral hemorrhage. Funeral services were held for her here Friday at the Christian church. Burial was in the Clayton cemetery. Mrs. Heineger was formerly Miss Emma White, daughter of Abe White of this place. She was born in Washington county, Ky., October 9, 1882, coming to Indiana with her parents while young. She united with the Christian church at Stilesville when sixteen years old. She was married to Thomas Edmund in 1897, and they were the parents of three children, Harley, Otha and Esther. Harley, the oldest son, lost his life in the World War. Mrs. Edmunds was again married March 30, 1920, and has since lived in Indianapolis. She leaves the husband, George Heineger; a son, Otha Edmunds of San Pedro, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Esther Burris, who, with her husband, lived with her mother; her father, Abe White, of Clayton; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Phillips of Indianapolis and Mrs. Anna Fox of Clayton; two brothers, Alva and Linsey White of Indianapolis.
