Rowena Phillips Henderson, 87, Brownsburg, died at home, January 15, 2007. She was born Dec. 10, 1919, the daughter of Chester and Harriet Phillips.
She was a life-long resident of Brownsburg. She and her husband Ralph, who preceded her in death, were realtors and helped many people establish homes in Brownsburg.
Rowena was a member of Brownsburg Christian Church. She was also a 50 plus year member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Eastern Star, Brownsburg Homemakers and MNO (Mother's Night Out) Club.
Rowena is survived by two children Terry Henderson and Nancy Hobson. She has five grandchildren, Ali Henderson Lewis, T.J. Henderson, Joey, Matthew and Katy Hobson. She also has a great-granddaughter due to arrive in February.
Visitation will be held in the chapel of Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg, on Wed. Jan. 17 from 4-8 p.m. Services will be held in the chapel on Thurs. Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. Services by Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
