CLARK W. HOWELL
Clark W. Howell, a native of Danville, died in Riverview hospital, Noblesville, Sunday evening.
The son of Frank and Elizabeth Howell, he was born in 1877 and spent the greater part of his life in this community. He has lived with his daughter, Mrs. H.H. Dittbrenner, at Noblesvile since the death of his wife.
Mr. Howell's father will be remembered as a groceryman, operating a grocery store in the room now occupied by the Blanton Mills store on the west side of the square. Mr. Howell helped his father in the store and also was a former salesman.
Besides the daughter, survivors include a granddaughter, Judy Dittbrenner of Noblesville. The parents and two sisters, Etta and Daisy, preceded him in death.
