Final rites for Mrs. Effie M. Hufford, age 87, 113 South Green Street, Brownsburg, were conducted from the Jones & Matthews Mortuary, there. She died Friday morning. The Rev. Jerry Nash officiated with burial in the Greenlawn Cemetery, there.
A native of Indianapolis, she was the widow of the late Edgar Hufford and a member of the Brownsburg Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Marshall of Kokomo, Charles and Walter, both of Brownsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Beaver, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Louise Vidito, Brownsburg; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
