Death of Aged Woman, Mrs Peter Hulsizer Passed Away Friday Morning at Age of 83 Years
Julia Ann, wife of Peter Hulsizer, died at 12:30 Friday morning at the family home northwest of this place.
Julia Ann Hulsizer was born July 2, 1834. She was the youngest of eight children born to Philemon and Rachel Phillips. She was born and grew to womanhood in Jennings county and with her father and mother moved to Hendricks county and was married to Peter Hulsizer April 10, 1859, and to this union was born one son, Henry H. Hulsizer, who with the husband survive. She and her husband enjoyed nearly fifty-nine years of matrimonial life. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist church for fifty-five years and was a regular attendant at the services of her church as long as her health would permit.
She passed away Feb. 15, 1918, at 12:30 a.m. and was aged 83 years, 7 months and 12 days. She was laid to rest Sunday, Feb. 17th, in the Arbuckle cemetery near Brownsburg.
