Obituary for Marvin Wayne Hunt

Marvin Wayne HUNT 30, of 417 N. Jamison St., Lebanon died at Robert Long Hospital Tuesday of last week. He had been suffering from heart trouble for the past 3 years. A native of Hendrix [sic] County, he was the son of Earl James and Loretta Frances Caplinger Hunt. On March 23, 1947, he married Myrtle Philbeck. Mr. Hunt was a veteran of WWII serving as a technical sergeant in an armored division for four years. He had worked in the Allison Plant at Indianapolis 8 years. He attended the assembly of God Church in Lebanon. He is survived by a son, David Wayne Hunt and a daughter Janet Marie Hunt, his mother, Mrs. Frances Hunt of Lebanon; 3 brothers, Robert Eugene and Joseph Hunt of Waveland; four sisters, Mrs. Edith French and Miss Marilyn Hunt of Lebanon; Mrs. Lester Dickerson, New Brunswick and Mrs. Helen Huxold of Jamestown. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother James L. Hunt. Funeral services were held from the Gray Mortuary in Lebanon at 2 Tuesday with Rev. John Washler officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon.
