ROBERT C. MABBITT, age 71, Brownsburg, died April 18, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Services were April 21 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, Steven T. Reeves officiating. Burial was in the Brownsburg cemetery.
Born Nov. 26, 1928 in Indianapolis he was the son of Cecil and Gertrude (White) Mabbitt. He had been a resident of Brownsburg for 50 years.
Mr. Mabbitt was a truck driver for L.S. Ayers & Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Brownsburg Christian Church. He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his widow, Jean (Phillips) Mabbitt; two daughters, Cheryl Barton of Indianapolis and Barbara Mabbitt of Brownsburg; two sons, Richard Mabbitt and Donald Mabbitt, both of Brownsburg; a sister, Wilma Loveless of Indianapolis, and 10 grandchildren.
