Services were December 4, at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, for Mable Miller, age 88, of the Brownsburg Health Care, who died December 2. Rev. John Nolan officiated. Burial was in the Jamestown IOOF Cemetery, Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Foundation of Boone County for Tri-Area Library.
Born Aug. 29, 1905 in Brownsburg, she was a daughter of Rollie and Ella (Hufford) Garner. She graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1923.
She married Richard M. Miller on Feb. 29, 1936 who preceded May 1, 1990.
A former resident of Carmel, she was a member of the Carmel Central Christian Church and the Carmel OES.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Goodall of Jamestown, Lynn Nevitt of Carmel and Maribeth Paskins of Danville; two sisters, Helen Wing of Arizona and Joanna Shirley of Zionsville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
