HARLINGEN, Texas--Harold E. Mills, 76, formerly of Brownsburg, died June 14, 1997, at Golden Palms Health Center in Harlingen, Texas.
Mills was born May 18, 1921, to Doc and Clara Elizabeth (Smith) Mills. She survives.
Mills was a collection manager for Dow Chemical in Midland, Mich. for 27 years, retiring in 1981. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mills was a member of First Christian Church in Harlingen, Texas.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Darryl Mills of N. Augusta, S.C. and Kevin Mills of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Sheila Brehob of Cincinnati, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 16 at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg, with Steven T. Reeves officiating.
Burial was at Brownsburg Cemetery.
