Jacob O'Neal Dies At Coatesville
Jacob E. O'Neal, age 83, former Hendricks county treasurer, died at his home near Coatesville, Sunday night, following an illness of one month.
He was a life-long resident of the Coatesville community and was a member of the Coatesville Methodist church. His wife, the former Anna Harlan, died seven years ago. He was an active worker in the Republican party as long as his health permitted.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Schuyler Arnold, of Stilesville; two sons, Claude O'Neal of Delaware, Ohio, and Frank O'Neal of Coatesville, and a sister, Mrs. Dayton Kersey, of Coatesville.
Funeral services were held at the Coatesville Methodist church, Tuesday afternoon, in charge of the Rev. Carlyle Mason, with burial at Coatesville.
