Dennis A. Phillips, 54, of West Newton, IN, passed away January 2004. Mr. Phillips retired from GM Allisons as a maintenance worker in 2003 after 26 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Brownsburg Masonic Lodge, ICCADA Certification, Indiana Addiction Issue Coalition, NCCADA, and Phi Theta Kappa Honorary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2004, in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial in Brownsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2004, at the mortuary. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Phillips and son, Keith Phillips. Surviving Dennis are his wife, Monna Cullison Phillips; daughters, Krista Shank, Kate and Dana Phillips; step-son, Toby Brower; mother, Joan Douglas Phillips; brothers, DuWayne, Lawrence Ray and Randy Phillips; sister, Roxanna Williams; grandchildren, Kodl, Keith and Jada; and a friend of Bill W.
