DENNIS PHILLIPS, PITTSBORO
Dennis R. Phillips, 43, Pittsboro, died Aug. 19, 1994, at Hendricks Community Hospital in Danville.
He was born Nov. 6, 1950, to Glen Russell and Mary Mendenhall Herring and was married to Mary Jane Peck Phillips on May 21, 1988, in Pittsboro. She survives him in death.
He was an insurance agent for Monumental Life Insurance Company and served in the navy. Mr. Phillips was also a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg.
Survivors include his wife; mother; son, Ryan Morphew; daughters, Jennifer Phillips, Melissa Morphew; sister, Cindy Rudd; brother, Ed Phillips of Brownsburg.
Funeral services were conducted Aug. 22 at St. Malachy Catholic Church.
Burial was in Sparks Cemetery in Pittsboro. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
