EDITH PHILLIPS
Mrs. Edith Phillips, 86, of Morgantown, passed away at 9:05 AM, Sunday, October 1st, 2006 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facilities, Bartholomew County, In.
Mrs. Phillips was born in Jennings County, IN on October 9, 1919, the daughter of the late Benjamin Richard and Alzada Ada (Hess) Russell.
She was the wife of the late Aaron Bueford Phillips, who preceded her in death in 1984. They were married on November 20, 1937. She was of Christian faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by two son(s), James Dale (Donna) Phillips of Florida and Eugene Richard Phillips of Florida.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Susan Phillips, Nancy Bailey, Pam Foley, Sherrie Sapone, Todd Phillips and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one infant son, Russell Edward Phillips, one brother and several sisters.
The funeral service will be at Voss Capel, Seymour, IN, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4th, with Reverend Bill Weaver officiating.
Friends are invited to call Tuesday, October 3 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 9:30 a.m. until time of the service at Voss Chapel. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
