The body of George Pierson was laid to rest in the East cemetery, Friday after services in the Pittsboro Baptist church. He was a son of the late Austin Pierson and died Tuesday, April 30. He was a citizen of Middle township and was the father of Mrs. Lotia Worrell, Verl and Archie Pierson, of Beech Grove, and Harry, Walter and Clifford Pierson of near Danville.
