Artie C. Reed
Artie C. Reed, son of Mrs. Minnie Reed of R.R.1, Clayton, died, Sunday, at the age of 40 years.
He was a former resident of Martinsville where he was employed as an electrician. In recent years he had lived in Anderson. He was a veteran of World War II.
Services were Tuesday afternoon in the Cure & Hensley Funeral Home in Martinsville. Burial was in the Samaria Cemetery.
Surviving with the mother are the widow, Mrs. Ruby Reed; four step-children; a brother, James Reed, of near Paragon; five sisters, Mrs. Iva McCord, of near Clayton; Mrs. Orpha Schoolcraft, of North Salem; Mrs. Methol Lane, of Elwood; Mrs. Dorothy Runler, of Pendleton, and Mrs. Espa Tipton, of R.R. 6, Anderson.
