Services for Michael Dean Richwine, 21, Brownsburg, were Monday, April 2 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Rev. Mitch Stichler officiated, with burial in Brownsburg Cemetery, Inc.
The son of Dean and Paula Sims Richwine, he was born April 25, 1968 at Danville. He died Friday, March 30, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
A graduate of Brownsburg High School, he was majoring in education and communications at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis. Before that he attended Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, Mo. on a football Scholarship.
Mike was employed as an assistant to the Promotions Director of the Emmis Flagship Radio Station-WENS and was art creative assistant to Sky-Concert 1989 He served as president of Delta Sigma Phi Faternity, was student government representative at SBU, and co-founder of Tr-Pi organization.
Surviving with his parents are sister, Jenny Richwine; brother, Marc Richwine; grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Allen Sims, London, Ky., and Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Richwine, Lebanon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of Indianapolis.
