CHARLES A. RUTLEDGE

Charles A. Rutledge, retired Center Township farmer, died, Christmas Day, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Huffman, State Road 39 north of Danville.

A native of Montclair, he was born Nov. 28, 1885 the son of the late Henry and Jane English Rutledge. On Jan, 17, 1913 he was married to Kathryn Lukins in Brownsburg, who survives.

He had lived his entire lifetime in Hendricks County where he was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Surviving with the daughter and widow are a son, Eugene Rutledge, St. Petersburg, Fla., six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be, this morning, 10 o'clock, from St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem. The Baker Funeral Home, Danville, was in charge of the arrangements.
