Horace Rutledge Dies in Long Hospital
Horace Rutledge, age 52, died yesterday morning in the Long hospital, Indianapolis, following an illness of several weeks. He had been a patient in the hospital three weeks. Funeral services will be held in the Lizton Christian church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in the K. of P. cemetery. Surviving are the widow and five children, Marvin, Leroy, Edna, May and Dorothy, also a brother, Harry, of Lizton, and three sisters, Mrs. O.T. Scamahorn, Pittsboro, Mrs. Inez Keeney and Mrs. Fronie Kobrick.
Mr. Rutledge was born in Union township, a son of John and Margaret Rutledge. He moved to Danville four years ago and lived at the County Home farm.
