Ernest E. Schenck, life-long farmer of Hendricks County, died, Thursday, in the Hendricks County Hospital where he had been a patient for six weeks. He had farmed in the Pittsboro Community until his retirement a few years ago.
He was born July 29, 1882, the son of the late James B. and Rachel Schenck and married to the former Luella Doyal in Danville.
He was a member of the Corinth Methodist Church.
Funeral services were Sunday afternoon from the Gregory Funeral Home in Pittsboro with Brother Sherman Essex of Fayette officiating. Burial was in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Brownsburg.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Irene Warren, Speedway; Mrs. Ione Graham and Mrs. Opal DeLong, both of Pittsboro.
