Mrs. Ernest Doyal Schenck of Pittsboro died in the Witham Hospital Tuesday following An illness of four years.
Mrs. Schenck, 68 years of age, was born in Boone County but had lived all her married life near Pittsboro. She and her Husband, Ernest, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversity about 18 months ago. She was a member of the Corinth Methodist Church, and a former member of the Womans Society of Christian Service of that church.
Besides the husband, survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Opal DeLong and Mrs. Irene Warren, both of Speedway City; Mrs. Ione Graham of Pittsboro and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Gregory Funeral Home at Pittsboro. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Brownsburg.
