Arthur W. Smoot, age 64, 1017 Winfield, husband of Grace Smoot, father of Maurice, Wayne, Dennis and Michael Smoot, Carol Thomas and Arthena Presslor, Step-father of Robert Calvin, 18 grandchildren, brother of Raymond Smoot, June Harvey, Bernice Meiring and Bonnie Warren, passed away Saturday. Services Tuesday, 2 p.m., Fairfax Christian Church. Friends invited. Friends may call at Conkle Funeral Home Speedway Chapel, 4925 W. 16th St. from 2 p.m. till 10 p.m., Monday and at the church from 1 p.m., Tuesday until hour of service.
