GRACE G. EAGLIN PURTLEBAUGH SMOOT, 83, Danville, died Aug. 24. She owned and was a beautician several years at Brush 'N Curl Beauty Shop, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Golden Rule Christian Church. Services: 11a.m. Aug 27 in Chapel Glen Church of Christ, of which she was a member, with calling from 10 a.m. Additional calling 4 to 8 p.m. Aug 26 in Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel. She was the widow of Bush Purtlebaugh and Arthur Smoot. Suvivors: Daughters Grace Dorine Barker, Edith Jane George, Maryrose Scott; brothers Oliver, Jack Eaglin; eight grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
