Mabel E. Spriggs of Naples, Fla., died March 3. She was 96. Born July 18, 1905, in Brownsburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Iva J. (Phillips) Bell. She was the widow of Leslie A. Spriggs Sr.
Mrs. Spriggs had worked as a home economist at Prudue Universty Cooperative Extension Service.
She was a member of Naples Women's Republican Club, Collier County Home Economics Association, Sigma Kappa Sorority at Indiana University and Tri Kappa Sorority of Bloomfield.
Survivors include a son, Leslie A. Spriggs Jr. of Naples; a daughter, Margaret Spriggs Greenman; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 9 at Johnson-Pittman Funeral and Cremation Services in Naples.
