Mrs. Mary Starr, 89, Died Sunday Evening
Mrs. Mary Starr, age 89 years, Coatesville's oldest resident, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lennie McCloud, on South Milton Street Sunday evening after an extended illness from hardening of the arteries. Mrs. Starr had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. McCloud for the past ten years. Her husband, Clinton Starr, passed away 26 years ago.
Funeral services were held at the local Baptist church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Gilbert McCammack and burial was made in the Stilesville cemetery.
Mrs. Starr is survived by the daughter, Mrs. McCloud, one son, Ray Starr of Reno, and one sister, Mrs. Ann Wallace, of Stilesville.
