Mrs. Katharine Thomas, aged 41 years, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ham Jackson, at Mooresville, Friday afternoon at three o'clock, of pneumonia. The remains were brought to Danville, Monday, and the funeral was held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed. Crawley, in the afternoon with interment in the south cemetery. Two daughters, Mrs. Crawley and Miss May, and a son, Benjamin, survive. Mrs. Thomas was the third death in the family in less than two weeks—her father, Ham Jackson, dying Monday night January 9; her husband, Ed Thomas, dying Saturday night January 14.
