Leah P. Phillips Vernon, 87, Brownsburg, died Friday. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Brownsburg Cemetery. Calling will be from 1:30 p.m. until services in David A. Hall Mortuary Brownsburg. She had worked at Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors Corp., retiring in 1965. She was a member of Brownsburg Christian Church. Survivors; daughter, Jeanne Taylor; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
