Forrest E. Warren died Oct. 12 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was 84 and had formerly resided in Hendricks County.
Born April 5, 1916, in Bloomington, Ill., he was a son of David A. Warren and Susan Poynter.
Mr. Warren had worked 36 years as assistant supervisor for Railway Express before retiring in 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Retha I. (Milhon) Warren; a son, Larry L. Warren of Indianapolis; a daughter, Linda J. Johnson of Mooresville; sisters Dessie Parker and Joyce Belt; brothers Charles L. and Delmar R. Poynter; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon. Pastor Monty Barker will officiate. Interment will follow at Stilesville Cemetery.
