Index to Hendricks County Declarations of Intent (1852-1906)
A surname index to a volume of Declarations of Intent for the years 1852 through 1906. A Declaration of Intent was the first step in the process to becoming naturalized, and contained the immigrant's age, native country, place of embarkation, and the date and place of arrival in the United States. This index contains the immigrant's name, the page number, the date their declaration was filed, and the link to the abstract of the declaration.

Index to Hendricks County Final Oaths (1856-1906)
A surname index to a volume of Final Oaths for the years 1856 through 1906. A Final Oath was the final step in the process to becoming naturalized. Final oaths did not have to be filed in the same court as the declaration of intent, and usually did not contain as much information as the declaration. This index contains the immigrant's name, the page number, the date their final oath was filed in Hendricks County Circuit Court, and a link to the abstract of the final oath.
